What an exciting start I’ve had in my new position in the preschool area. We just celebrated these gifts from God on Promotion Sunday. We had cute Back to School Blessings’ goodie bags, donut holes, and juice for the Preschool and Children’s department. It was fun getting it ready and then seeing all the sweet smiles as they got to enjoy the special goodies. I’d say it was a success!
We also just finished the summer unit on the Armor of God during our Wednesday nights’ Bible Study. The kids enjoyed it so much. It was rewarding seeing their excitement each week as they discovered a new piece of armor and recalled what we had already learned. I'm so excited to start our new curriculum in September. It is “The Beginners Bible - Timeless Lessons for Preschoolers”. It will be fun to learn about different Bible stories with the kids throughout the year.
Our preschool choir, Kingdom Kids, has their kick-off pool party on Aug 20th from 5:30-7:30. They will start back practices on Sunday nights starting Aug 27th with dinner at 5:30 and practice from 6-7. Their leaders have picked out a cute Christmas program. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
I’d like to thank those that have stepped up to help love on all our littles. We still have some spots we need help with. We need two Sunday School teachers for our 3 year olds. If you would be interested in teaching, subbing, or being that extra set of helping hands please let me know.
