When he (King Jehoshaphat) had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the LORD and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, "Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting." (2 Chronicles 20:21)
Wednesday, September 4th at 4 pm - GEMSTones will resume their times of fellowship and singing together! Not only are we singing some of our favorite songs, but we will also be looking at what we will be presenting for this Christmas season!
Sunday, September 8th at 4:30 pm - YES! Student Choir kicks off with a luau and a parents’ meeting. We will be talking about dates and events we have put on the calendar for us. There will be refreshments and some fellowship time as well.
That same Sunday, September 8th at 5:30 - Our children’s choirs, SMASH (Children 1st-6th grade) and BLAST (Pre-school 3yo-K) begin their times with a snack supper before they move to their choir rooms in the Children’s Building.
Of course, our adult choir, the Hearts of Praise, has resumed their rehearsals on Wednesday evenings! It’s not too late to jump in with them on the ground floor!
No matter your age, there is a choir for YOU!
"And all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, their sons and kinsmen, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood east of the altar with 120 priests who were trumpeters; and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, “For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever,” the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God."
