FINALLY!! Our Christmas Programs Are Back!! After this past year of putting everything off due to the pandemic, it’s so good to be able to enjoy the fruit of our musical groups’ labor this Christmas season!
First up is our Children’s Choirs! Our Kingdom Kids (Preschool) share “Hooray for Baby Jesus” and our Children’s Choir will share “Star Search” this Sunday evening, December 5th!

Our 23rd Annual Mustang Christmas Village is next! Tuesday, 12/7, and Thursday, 12/9, we will be host to Canyon Ridge, Horizon, Meadow Brook, and the MHS Choir respectively! Sandwiched in on that Wednesday, 12/8, we’ll enjoy our very own Parents’ Day Out Children led by Robin Roady!
Sunday, December 12th will feature our Adult Choir’s presentation of “Christmas Changes Everything” in the evening service! This is a true Worship experience that celebrates the reality that when our Savior came to earth as a little baby, our world was indeed changed forever! And the truth that no matter what you’re facing, “God with Us,” “Emmanuel” is there with you! “It is great to know that God so loved the world, but more important to know that God loves YOU!” This is a message everyone needs to hear!
The Christmas Village continues the following Tuesday, 12/14, and Thursday, 12/16 as we host Creek, Mustang Elementary, Centennial, and our MHS Jazz Band will once again give our Christmas Village its sendoff!!
The Wednesday between, 12/15, our GEMSTones will share their musical presentation “Christmas All Year Long” which addresses the question why can’t we love each other, respect one another, spread hope and good cheer all year long! Why do we have to wait until Christmas to give to our loved ones, our friends and neighbors the kind of love that Jesus asks us to share? Don’t miss this!
And then finally, on Sunday evening, 12/19, our Student Musicians will share with us “Cool Yule 2.” This is a collection of songs that share the joyous message of Christmas with a fresh beat and exciting lyrics! Another presentation our church family needs to celebrate! This presentation will be in the Student Room with Hot Chocolate and refreshments! Great music and a snack? Nothing better!
And how can we not mention our Christmas Eve Candle Lighting service on the 24th?
