Fall is upon us! School is back in session. Football season has begun, and the weather is changing. The start of Fall means many different things for everyone. For Chisholm Students it means our Fall retreat is approaching. Fall Back is a very special event for me personally. Growing up here and participating in our youth events means that I have been to many Fall Backs with Chisholm Heights. I have many memories of different things that we have done at Fall Back such as campfire worship, flag football and fellowship with others. It has been a special event in my life and in the lives of many other students.
Fall Back is a time for the students to get away and remove themselves from the distractions of their lives. To forget for just a moment what may be happening at school or happening at home and relax. It allows them to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ through devotions, teaching, and worship.
Colossians 4:2 “Devote yourselves in prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
As Fall Back is approaching, please be in prayer for our staff as we prepare for this event. Be in prayer for the youth that their hearts will be open and available to what God might be teaching them. Pray specifically for Rob and I that we might prepare well and lead well.
