Following Jesus Changes Everything!

Vacation Bible School is gearing up to start in just 12 days! My VBS directors, Bridgette Lancaster and Dia Sense, have been hard at work putting together everything we need to make a successful VBS. Pam Gilbreath has been working for months on making super cute decorations that you will start seeing around the church very soon. Registration is open for kids who have completed Pre-K through 5th grade. We had 60 volunteers come to our training on Sunday afternoon and they are ready for a wonderful week together.

Our verse for the week is Psalm 25:4: “Make your ways known to me, Lord, teach me your paths.” Our children will be learning how Jesus changes everything. When we trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, He forgives our sins and gives us a new purpose. Through the twists and turns of life, Jesus will never leave us!

Please start praying now for VBS! Pray for each boy, girl, and volunteer who will be attending. Pray that God would start now softening the hearts of those who will be hearing the gospel and that lives will be changed as they accept God’s free gift

of salvation.

Saturday, June 3rd from 9am-11am we will have a “come and go” VBS prayer walk. You will start in the Welcome Center, pick up your prayer guide then walk and pray through each room that will be used in VBS. Please make it a priority to be here that morning and pray for VBS!

Another way you can help with VBS is by grabbing a set of VBS door hangers in the Welcome Center to hang in your neighborhood. There is a QR code on the back for registration. This is an easy way to spread the word of CHBC VBS in our community.

If you need more information, you can contact me at the church office or stop by the VBS Information Table in the Welcome Center on Sundays and Wednesdays. This table will have prayer cards, doorknob hangers for you to spread the word in your neighborhoods, Chisholm Kids t-shirts for sale and a place where you can register for VBS!
