Foundational
by Bro. Dave Bryan - Senior Pastor

Certainly all would agree that things are changing all around us at an unbelievable pace. The fabric of our society is constantly being unraveled and re-woven into something previous generations would not recognize. Some of these new things are wonderful blessings. Some have proven to be otherwise. In such times of turbulence and disarray, where do we stand? Where is the rock in the midst of the quicksand?
This Sunday morning, our congregation will observe the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. First shared with His small band of followers, He gives it to the church for a reason. “Do this in remembrance of me," tells us that Jesus understood the possibility of His life, His teachings becoming nothing but a faded memory of our faith. Without Jesus, we are lost.
With Him, living the story of the Cross, we have hope and promise. We must not forget, or the changing landscape of our day will swallow us.
On another note, thank you. Your expressions of appreciation this past month for your pastor have been an over-the-top blessing. You are an amazing group of people, and Karen and I are forever grateful to have the privilege of sharing this journey of faith with each of you.
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday as we come together in the remembrance of our Lord. It’s a joy to be your pastor!
