HOPE DURING BAD DAYS
Dear Friends,
Have you noticed that some bad days are just bad days? We might try to improve them, change them, or rewrite them, but all too often, the only help for a bad day is for it to end, get a good night’s sleep, and begin anew and afresh in the morning, and maybe the next day won’t be so bad. Unfortunately, as many of us will attest, tomorrow brings plenty of the bad along with it. We feel caught in a never-ending cycle of hurt, pain, and confusion.
But for those who place their heart in Christ, there is hope, expectant hope. I hope you’ll join me this Sunday as we look at Romans 8:18-25. Paul has some excellent words for us to hear, words that bring encouragement to those who feel caught in the midst of a day that is bad. You can come in person or you can join us online. However you choose to participate, I am looking forward to our day together. We’ll see you at 11:00 am!
In addition, remember our weekly online question and answer session at 6:00 pm on Wednesdays. It’s called CHBC Live. If you don’t have online capabilities, why not ask someone you know who does and watch it together?
Folks, we’re making it through these days! Thank you for being so faithful in times of difficulty. Please let me know if there is anything you need. Your church is ready to help!
It’s a joy to be your pastor!
