School has started back; Fall is in the air and CHBC Preschool and Kids are off to a great start to the school year! I am excited to announce our new children’s theme and logo which will encompass all children birth through 6th grade.
Our key verse for this year is “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” Ephesians 5:8
We will be spending Wednesday nights learning how we can be a light to this dark world. How we can be a light to our friends, classmates, teachers and even in our own home showing God’s love in all we do. I really like Ephesians 5:9 which says “for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth”. We are going to be looking at God’s Word to see how we can live in His goodness, righteousness and truth and share this with others around us. I am encouraging each child to bring their Bibles with them on Sundays and Wednesday nights. I am passionate about teaching children how to properly use God’s Word. We will be learning how to find verses in our Bibles and definitely working on scripture memorization on Wednesday nights. We will also have a Mission Moment each Wednesday night where we will be learning more about Missionaries and how they are sharing the gift of salvation in their part of the world.
Chisholm Kids: Bring a friend! Bring your Bible! We are going to be learning how to be on fire for Christ in all we do!
