Dear Friends,
“One step at a time.” That’s the phrase we use a lot around here these days. As we continue to open up and get people back to meeting in the church building, we are working hard to make sure all is done well and in order. It is just one more reason I am so thankful for our people. They have been kind and understanding during this time of transition, and showing favor and grace as we make our way through these uncharted waters. It is such a blessing to see different groups begin to meet again. We are not sure all that is ahead of us, but for today, it is a good day!
One exciting thing happened that I’m sure you will want to know about. Tuesday night, the students had gathered to share in some music, fellowship, and hear a message from the Word. As a result, a young lady gave her heart to Christ! The church’s schedule might look different from anything its experienced before, but God is still at work. Hearts are still turning to Him as they listen to what His Word says!
This Sunday, we have a special guest. Dr. Samuel Thomas, president of Hopegivers International will be sharing with us about the ongoing work of planting churches and building orphanages in India. If you can’t make it, that’s okay. We will be Livestreaming the service for your use.
Folks, we’ve got a great summer ahead. I hope you’ll be able to take advantage of some of the things in the months to come. If not, don’t worry. We’re doing everything we can to make sure we come to you! Please, let us know if there is anything you need in the coming weeks!
