Ex. 35:4 Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, “This is the thing that the LORD has commanded. 5 Take from among you a contribution to the LORD.
Ex. 35:20 Then all the congregation of the people of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. 21 And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, and brought the LORD’S contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.
The Lord said to Moses take up a contribution from among you to build the tabernacle. So the people gathered up what they had and brought it to Moses to be used to build the tabernacle.
The New Day giving campaign is a way for each one of us to contribute to cover the cost of the remodel of our Worship Center. Work started Monday and things will start looking different soon. Many have mentioned wanting an opportunity to see the things they wrote on the floor before the carpet went down some 30 years ago. We will try and make some time for you so see the things that were done in the past and make time for us to write new dedication before the new flooring goes down.
This past Sunday following the words of Exodus, those who were led by the Lord brought their offerings and pledge cards forward to help cover the cost of the remodel of the Worship Center. If you did not have an opportunity to participate in that you can still be a part. There are pledge cards and offering envelopes in the basket at the end of each row you can fill out and drop them in the offering boxes. You can also give online at chbcmustang.org/giving or on the CHBC App by select New Day building fund.
I am excited to see what the Lord is doing and what He will continue to do at CHBC.
