Summer is in full swing and CHBC Kids are having a blast!
VBS 2023 was a huge success with over 200 in total attendance during the week. The best part of VBS was the 7 salvations that took place during the week. All glory to God for a wonderful week!
Crosstimbers Mission Camp was hot but so much fun. We took 22 kids and 8 sponsors to camp where we learned the importance of living a life that is pure, true, honorable, and praiseworthy. Our verse for the week was Phil. 4:8-9. Our Chisholm Kids built stronger bonds with one another, and new friendships blossomed. Thank you, church family, for your prayers, encouragement, and support in sending our kids to camp each summer.
We continue our Summer Adventure Days with 3 more fun days ahead of us. We will end our summer with a church wide pool party at the Mustang Aquatic Center in August. More information will be out soon with those details.
Last, but certainly not least, our preschool coordinator, Mindy Stewart, has decided to step down from her position. Mindy has decided to pursue college in the fall. She will also be helping her mom in the kitchen on Wednesday nights. Mindy has been a joy to work with over the past 10 months. She is a beautiful young lady with a bright future ahead of her. She will be greatly missed in the preschool hall but I’m certainly glad she will still be around serving at CHBC. When you see Mindy, be sure to tell her how much you appreciate all she has done for CHBC Preschoolers.
God is at work in our preschool and children’s departments. Please be in prayer as we look for people who God is calling to work with our preschoolers and children. We need people who are hungry to teach our little children about Jesus and His love for them. If you think this may be an area you would like to serve, please reach out to me. We are looking forward to growing our team of amazing volunteers in both programs.
