What a time we shared together on Christmas Eve and I pray you had a great time with family and friends on Christmas. As we approach the New Year may we continue to keep Christ at the center of our holiday season. This Sunday Evening we will have our annual silent Lord’s Supper hosted by our deacons from 5-7 pm in the worship center. This is a special time as we close out 2023 and pray seeking the Lord’s favor in 2024.
Psalm 103:2: “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds.”
1 Chronicles 16:11-12: “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.”
In 2023 we experienced a lot together, too much to list it all in this article, but some include allowing the student pastor to preach more than once (Thank You!), new families joining the church, baptisms in the gym and our newly renovated worship center, a retirement of a Godly leader and pastor in the life of this church, welcoming a couple amazing interim leaders to our staff, etc. I am thankful that we shared all of these things together. I look forward to what the Lord is going to continue to do here at Chisholm Heights over the course of this next year as we continue to see and experience new milestones together.
