Our Chisholm Heights Mission Quilters have had a fantastic year creating quilts for those in our community in need. This year they have created quilts for charities such as: All About Babies-Edmond, Baptist Disaster Relief of OK, Center of Family Love- Okarche, For the Love of Children - El Reno, Hope Pregnancy Centers-OKC, Infant Crises Center of OKC, NERCI Mission, OU Medical Children's Cancer Ward, Pivot, and more. They make both twin and baby sized quilts, and their grand total for the year was 557 quilts! As this bitterly cold week continues, think about how much these 100s of quilts have made a difference in the lives of those in our communities, a blanket that not only keeps them warm, but also comes with a message of God's love for them.
